1989: Buckhurst Hill Disturbance

The Legend:

Sometime during the summer of 1989 in the area around Buckhurst Hill in Essex, England, three 17-year-old boys who were crossing a graveyard to get to a party were surprised by the appearance of a phantom Black Dog... and a little later the same night, the spectral dog leaped onto the hood of a car, scaring the driver.

Under Investigation

        At the moment I have just one source for this account, a Fortean Times from 1992... for that reason, this account will require more investigation.
