1900 (pub): Water-Horse of Skye Killed

A story from the Island of Skye, Scotland, states that where the stream from Eisgeadal falls into Loch Fada (at the foot of Storr), a water-horse which had previously killed a man was itself killed by sticking a knife into it... though the brief mention is unclear on if the knife was simply stuck into the water-horse, or if the knife was stuck into the water where the stream fell into the lake.

         I will try to find a fuller version of this legend.
