Slender Man - First Image, June 8, 2009

...so went the 'backstory' presented with this picture when first presented. This is the first image made of Slender Man, one of two posted on the Something Awful forums on June 8, 2009, by user Victor Surge as part of a contest to manufacture fake 'paranormal' photographs. This and the second image are the starting point for all Slender Man legends that were fabricated later.
