Newspaper Advertisement for Wreck of the Titan, 1912

When the British ship the Titanic struck an iceberg and sank in April 1912, it was soon stated that the disaster had been predicted by a short story published in 1898. Less than a month after the Titanic sank, newspapers started to carry the story in a serialized fashion... this advertisment for the upcoming story comes from the Ocala Evening Star, a newspaper from Florida, and ran on May 3, 1912.
