The Missing Romanovs

This was an excellent series that presented all the important details on a number of historic mysteries, one mystery per episode. Each story is presented in a straight-forward manner that walks the viewer through even the most convoluted of historical events with a clear understanding of not only what happened, but of each theory put forward to explain the event, and why those theories was put forward when they were. Some mysteries are now explainable... others are still inexplicable; but all are treated with equal attention to detail.
The downside of this series for me, however, is that because it is a video series, there is no detailed bibliography; and it will only be with time that I can assess how accurate or inaccurate the details presented within the episodes are.
The episodes I know of include: King Tut's curse, the missing Anastasia Romanov, the R-101 and Hindenburg disasters, the Lindburgh kidnapping, the disappearance of Glenn Miller, the Loch Ness monster, and whether or not the Pearl Harbor attack could have been prevented.

NOTE: A version of this series was released on home video by Madacy Entertainment in 1997; it has a different beginning sequence, but is the exact same series.
